Congratulations to Blieu Companies and the City of Palm Desert on the grand opening of Crossings at Palm Desert. The 176-unit community features two- and three-story buildings and a 4,400 square foot community room offering on site services and a dedicated case manager. The community room includes a computer lab, media room, and full kitchen. Outdoor amenities provide residents with BBQ and picnic areas, tot lots, and a swimming pool.

Housing Authority of the County of Riverside provided 87 Project Based Vouchers, which guaranteed long term rental support for the project. This commitment helped the developer secure financing, keep the project stable, and ensure the homes remain affordable for residents. By providing voucher support for 20 years, the County also guaranteed millions of dollars in rental income for the community. This made the project stronger financially and helped attract both public and private investment partners.

Thank you to Supervisor V. Manuel Perez for his vision and leadership in bringing this housing development to life. The fourth district of Riverside County now has 1,411 recently completed housing units, with an additional 952 units currently under construction - a combined capital investment exceeding $1.08 billion. Across their 20‑year voucher agreements, these communities will generate $248.73 million in rental assistance, strengthening long‑term housing stability for Riverside County residents.
