Home Gardens Library Gets a Refresh Thanks to CDBG Funds
January 27, 2026
The Home Gardens community is celebrating a major milestone with the grand re‑opening of the Home Gardens Library. The refresh project made possible through the support of dedicated partners and the vital investment of Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funds. This effort reflects a shared commitment to strengthening neighborhoods, expanding access to essential services, and creating welcoming spaces where families can learn, connect, and thrive.
The newly reimagined library now stands as a vibrant, inviting hub for research, discovery, and the joy of finding that next great read. Its transformation represents the hard work and collaboration of many, and congratulations are in order for everyone who contributed to bringing this beautiful space to life.
The celebration also included special recognition for the leaders and partners whose continued support helps advance education and opportunity throughout Riverside County. Thank you to Supervisor Karen Spiegel, Senator Sabrina Cervantes, Assemblymember Leticia Castillo, Riverside County Office of Economic Development, and the Riverside County Office of Education for joining the community on this beautiful day.
With its doors open once again, the Home Gardens Library steps confidently into the future offering a modern, community‑centered space designed to serve today’s residents and inspire the generations to come.
