Riverside County Delivers Specialized Training to 200 Homelessness Response Professionals

Training 200 Riverside County Homeless Response Workers

March 31, 2026

Our Riverside County Office of Homeless Services team hosted a countywide Housing Practice Training at the historic Crestmore Manor in the City of Jurupa Valley. The event brought together nearly 200 attendees who serve on the front lines of our county’s efforts to prevent and end homelessness.
This training was designed to strengthen and elevate the skills of those doing this critical work every day. Participants engaged in dynamic presentations from Impact Group, Riverside University Health System - Behavior Health and Riverside County Workforce Development. Topics included case management best practices, housing stabilization, core housing principles, motivational interviewing, and Trauma-Informed Care. Additional sessions covered Coordinated Entry System support and career development resources.
As we continue this work, the training event reminds us of what we can accomplish through a truly coordinated, countywide response. Across Riverside County, our partners, providers, and frontline teams remain united in our commitment to support our residents with compassion, expertise, and unwavering dedication. Together, we are building a stronger, more connected system of care that ensures every individual has the opportunity to find stability, dignity, and a place to call home.
