Murrieta Creek Trail Helps 202 Residents Secure Permanent Housing

Regional Homeless Alliance Meeting in Murrieta, CA

September 23, 2026

Collaboration continues to drive meaningful progress along the Murrieta Creek Trail, where coordinated efforts have helped 202 individuals transition into permanent housing. This milestone reflects the power of unified action and the unwavering commitment of community partners working together to address homelessness in the region.

At September’s Regional Homeless Alliance meeting in Murrieta, participants shared powerful stories of their personal journeys—stories that underscored both the challenges faced and the hope made possible when stakeholders unite with purpose. These testimonies served as a reminder of what can be achieved through compassion, consistency, and collective effort.

A heartfelt thank‑you goes out to everyone making a significant impact along the trail. This includes Riverside County Supervisor Chuck Washington; the cities of Murrieta, Menifee, Temecula, Wildomar, and Lake Elsinore; Project T.O.U.C.H.; Healthcare in Action; City Net Homeless Services; Riverside University Health System – Behavioral Health; the Riverside County Office of Homeless Services; and the Riverside County Continuum of Care. Their dedication and collaboration continue to strengthen support systems for residents experiencing homelessness.

Together, these partners are demonstrating what is possible when communities come together with a shared mission: ensuring that every resident has the opportunity to find safety, stability, and a place to call home.
