Congratulations to the City of Palm Springs and West Hollywood Community Housing Corporation (WHCHC)! Aloe Palm Canyon is now officially open, providing affordable housing for seniors aged 55 and older with incomes between 0% and 80% of the Area Median Income. This milestone reflects the city's continued commitment to expanding housing opportunities and supporting its senior community.

Aloe Palm Canyon features a modern architectural design inspired by the city’s Midcentury Modern roots. Developed by 64North, the building emphasizes community and accessibility with a central open-air courtyard, pedestrian-friendly layout, and integrated supportive housing services. Its thoughtful design blends aesthetics with functionality, offering seniors a vibrant and stable living environment.

This architecturally striking community features 71 thoughtfully designed apartments, with 69 reserved as affordable units. Among these, 25 are Permanent Supportive Housing units that offer on-site services to promote stability, independence, and long-term well-being for residents. Residents have access to a range of amenities, including a community room, laundry facilities, fitness center, library, computer room, and health services.

Congratulations to everyone who made this wonderful community a reality! Low Income Investment Fund, Lift to Rise, First Citizens Bank, Capital Markets at JLL, Step Up, DAP Health, Riverside University Health System - Behavioral Health, and 64North.
