Palm Villas at Millennium Breaks Ground in Palm Desert, 120 Affordable Homes and Hope for Families
December 2, 2025
Phase one of Palm Villas at Millennium has officially broke ground in Palm Desert. The affordable housing community will deliver 120 affordable homes, including dedicated units for survivors of domestic violence and individuals experiencing homelessness.
This milestone was made possible through the County of Riverside’s $6.7 million investment of American Rescue Plan Act funds.
Upon completion, the community will feature a laundry room, community room, and swimming pool. Outdoor amenities will include a centrally located tot lot for children ages 2–12, as well as picnic areas and recreational spaces designed for youth ages 13–17. The community building will further offer a dedicated space thoughtfully tailored for older children and teens.
Congratulations to Palm Communities, City of Palm Desert, and the Housing Authority of the County of Riverside for making this groundbreaking ceremony possible. Together, we are building housing, hope, and opportunity.
